OPENING IN ISLINGTON
JIJI’s showcases the finest Israeli-Japanese dishes and ingredients in a beautifully decorated space, reminiscent of a home kitchen.
The restaurant has been created by Janina Wolkow, restaurateur and founder of multi-award-winning contemporary Japanese restaurant Sumosan, which boasts outposts all over the world.
Inspired by frequent travels to Israel - more specifically Tel Aviv - Janina has created dishes showcasing her two favourite cuisines, demonstrating how both cuisines complement each other perfectly.
Heading up the kitchen will be Executive Chef Bubker Belkhit, affectionately known as Buba, who has worked with Janina for over 20 years.
